  3. California Assisted Living Statistics • CCRCs: • 102 (97 Authorized) CCRCs in CA • 73.5% are Not-for-Profit (75) • 26.4% are For-Profit (27) • 17 are Life Care Communities • RCFEs: • 7,667 in the state with a capacity for 171,855 residents • Approx. 80% are “Board and Care” (6 beds or fewer)

  4. Where are CCRCs located? • Mostly Urban/Suburban Areas • San Francisco Bay Area and Los Angeles
