Native American Foods!!!. By : Andrea Rivera. The Inuit Tribe. The most import food was caribou. It provided food and warm fur to make cloth. Kwakiutl Tribe. Kwakiutl men also hunted deer and moose, while women gathered ,shellfish, seaweed, roots and berries. Nez Perce.

  2. The Inuit Tribe The most import food was caribou. It provided food and warm fur to make cloth.

  3. Kwakiutl Tribe Kwakiutl men also hunted deer and moose, while women gathered ,shellfish, seaweed, roots and berries.

  4. Nez Perce • The Nez Perce hunted in the buffalo herds of the open Plateaus.

  5. Pawnee Tribe • The women grew corn (maize), squash , pumpkins, and beans . The Pawnee also used horses during there buffalo hunts.

  6. Hopi Tribe • The women raised corn (maize), squash pumpkins and beans.

  7. Seminole Tribe • Seminole men did most of the hunting and fishing. Game such as deer wild turkey, rabbits, turtles and alligators were eaten.
