8. 8 What is a Business Analyst? The Definition
Works as a liaison among stakeholders to elicit, analyze, communicate and validate requirements for changes to business processes, policies, and information and information systems
Understands business problems and opportunities in the context of the requirements and recommends solutions that enable the organization to achieve its goals Further defining the BA role.
Second bullet – points out what the BA role is not responsible for even though some BAs may perform this as part of their job.
The primary reason for the boundaries on the BA role is to make sue that we don’t overlap other professions like PM or QA. This is critical when trying to obtain ANSI and ISO standard approval for the certification.Further defining the BA role.
