UPDATE • Last general Assembly held on 7/8 June • New signatories to the MLA : Turkey and Portugal • European Commission presented expectations to EA and EA members in the frame of the project aiming to enhance the application of the new approach directives • Preparation of a cross frontier policy • Discussions on how better influence the work at the worldwide level (ILAC, IAF)

  2. UPDATE • Last executive committee meeting held on 11/12 June • Work on the proficiency testing issue (PT Consultative group) • Cooperation with ISO, BIPM, OIML

  3. UPDATE • Last executive committee meeting held on 15/16 June • Strategic planning discussions to improve the service granted by IAF and its members • Continuous work to provide guidance documents aiming harmonisation of accreditation over the world • Cross frontier policy

COOPERATION ACTIVITIES • ILAC/IAF • Joint Committee for Closer Cooperation held last meeting on 13 June • Joint activities : • Training of peer evaluators • Maintenace of common procedures for peer evaluation and MLA • Guidance on ISO/IEC 17011 • JWG on Inspection • Joint management of the MLAs
