M500:Ignition Sensing Ignition Sensing – with On/Off delay timer enables the M500 to get powered on with ignition key turns to ACC/ON automatically. And powered off after ignition key to LOCK/OFF for a specific time delay. A good example of using the ignition sensing is after delivery truck or school bus drivers arrive at the destination, they can turn off their vehicles and still be able to access to the Internet over 4G/LTE and don’t have to worry about losing the GPS data. The M500 remains on until the delay timer is up and automatically powers off so it doesn't drain the vehicle battery. NOTE: 4-pin P4 mini FIT Power Cable (Length (2M ±30mm)) – Purchase Separately Power Jack PIN 1 & 2 BLACK Wire: Ground (GND). Use one of the BLACK wires for a neutral or ground connection PIN 3 WHITE Wire : ACC is for Ignition Input. It needs to be connected into vehicle accessory wire. PIN 4 RED Wire: VCC voltage wire to the battery.
M500: VPN Mobile Connections VPN Secure Mobile Connections – supports various VPN (Virtual Private Network) protocols – including IPSec, L2TP, PPTP, and GRE, to ensure critical data is transmitted securely to/from multiple sites. M500 allows users to create and manage up to 16 tunnels per protocol for secure access over mobile connections.
M500:Load Balance via Dual LTEs Dual-WAN Load Balancing – has two independent LTE connections, offers a reliable Internet connectivity and maximize bandwidth utilization for critical applications delivery. Three (3) modes available and only one (1) mode can be activated. • Failover & Failback • When primary WAN link (WAN1) fails, all traffic will switch over to the backup WAN (WAN2) seamlessly. • Probe by Ping: Ping to the Gateway or an external IP address • OR • Probe by Signal Strength: Set a minimum requirement for RSRP and RSSI for initiating automatic WAN failback or failover procedures • Load Balance • Aggregate the bandwidth of two links by forwarding packets to the low-traffic link for better performance. • Traffic redirect when one of the WANs becomes inactive, all traffic will be forwarded to the other path/WAN and Load Balance will get terminated until the other WAN comes back up. Failover & Priority Compare signal strength, RSRP and RSSI values, between WAN1and WAN2.Switch to WAN2 if WAN1 RSRP / RSSI are below the minimum for a consecutive time within a timeframe OR Condition Automatic
