My Guiding Questions . Where did she Crash? . Why did she crash? . how was her life as a kid? . Did something happen her plane? .did she get any death threats?
Early life In 1897 in Atchison Kansas Amelia Earhart was born to Amy and Edwin Otis Earhart. Amelia was adventurous ever since a very young age. Once Amelia even made a roller coaster on her shed and slid down it on a wooden car. Amelia never really thought about flying until her father took her to the Iowa State Fair in Des Moines. There she saw her first airplane and it was love at first sight. Then in 1914 it became apparent that Edwin had become an alcoholic. He was forced to retire and rehabilitate until his addiction had cleared. She went to junior college in PN at Ogontz School in Rydal.
Older life World War One broke out in Europe because of a conflict between Austria Hungary and Serbia. America wanted to be isolated but we joined the war because of two reasons. First Germany felt the need to sink ships that sent supplies to the Allied Powers so one day the Lusitania the Titanic’s twin sister ship was cursing around on a trip and a German submarine boat sunk it killing thousands. And the Zimmerman note which was a secret note to Mexico from Germany saying that if Mexico joined the Central Powers that Germany would help gain all of the territory. That made America join into the war. Amelia joined the war as a nurse the she worked for a wealthy family being a teacher for orphan children. The she earned a lot of money winning Power Puff Derbies. She also was a aviation editor for the Cosmopolitan magazine from 1928-1930. She married George Putnam.`

She wrote three books, 20hrs and 40 minutes was Amelia'saviation journal, For The Fun of it and Last Flight were all of Amelia's published books
Flying life Amelia had two airplanes during her lifetime a second hand bright yellow kinner airaheter biplane named the Canary and a yellow speedster. A2 passenger automobile and named it the Yellow Peril. She was the 16th woman to be issued a pilot'slicense. She rode in races like the famous Powder Puff Derby. She also rode across ocean and countries . In 1928 she flew across the U.S and back and in 19332 she flew across the Atlantic alone and in 1935 she flew across the Pacific alone. Amelia attempted to fly across the whole world with a navigator named Fred Noonan but she unfortunately crashed never to be seen again.
Changes Over Time Amelia Earheart has not really changed overtime because she is dead but she crashed and was never seen again. Since technology has changed over time the resarch for this classic mystery. At first people thought she crashed near the Bermuda Triangle but they later considered her crashing near Howland Island. Also carbon dating has identified if plane wreckage is really hers.
Unanswered Questions My GT Teacher gave me some questions but I also had some questions that I also wanted to know. First I asked myself Where did Amelia crash? Well my research told me that she might had crashed near Howland Island because that was her stop on hear round the world flight. One question that is still unanswered for me is why did she crash in the first place? There really is no answer for this complex question.
