  2. Donovan Appleby Donovan’s favorite things to do at school are writing on the SMART Board and eating the delicious meals served by Mrs. Ludtke.

  3. Dalaney Bieneman Dalaney’s favorite thing about school is recess. She loves playing on the playground with her friends every day.

  4. Greyson Brousil Greyson’s favorite hymn is “What A Friend We Have In Jesus.” He likes it because it’s his mom’s favorite hymn and he knows it really well.

  5. Ethan Daubner Ethan says St. John’s is different from the other schools in Burlington becausethat you get to hear about God.

  6. Noah Fischer Noah’s favorite Bible passage is John 3:16, because it’s easy to memorize and it talks about Jesus saving us from our sins and from the devil.

  7. Mason Gill Mason thinks his parents sent him to St. John’s so that he will learn the word of God because his siblings went here too.

  8. Rhyse Gutche Rhyse’sfavorite subject in school is art, because he likes to draw and he likes it when the teacher puts them in the hall so that everyone can see them.

  9. Ethan Jenner Ethan’s favorite subject in school is reading because he loves reading and it helps him learn about meanings to interesting things.

  10. Bjorn Leafblad Bjorn’s favorite hymn is “Hark! The Voice of Jesus Crying” because you get to hear old words like hark and calleth.

  11. TJ Markham TJ’s favorite hymn is “What a Friend We Have in Jesus”.

  12. Jessica Luxem Jessica says St. John’s is different from the other schools in Burlington becauseit’s the only Lutheran school in Burlington and you get to hear about God.

  13. Griffin McFarland Griffin’s favorite subject is Christ Light class because you get to learn about God’s Word. Griffin likes learning about how Jesus died on the cross to save us.

  14. Evan Muzatko Evan thinks that the best thing about our school is that we have good Christian teachersthat teach God’s word every day.

  15. Jentry Shouse Jentry’sfavorite thing about St. John’s is the freedom to learn about God.

  16. Haley Voss Haley’s favorite memory so far about St. John’s is her first day of kindergarten, because Mrs. Prange said that there was a surprise in the play-doh and when she squished it, It turned yellow, her favorite color.

  17. Roman Weidner Roman’s favorite hymn is “Holy Spirit Light Divine.” He likes it because it shows on how the Holy Spirit dwells in our hearts and strengthens our faith. He also likes likes the tune of the hymn.

  18. Abigail Zimmerman Abby’s favorite hymn is “Holy Spirit Light Divine.” She likes it because it’s a fun hymn and it talks about Jesus.
