  3. Baccalaureates“aligned with the community college mission” • May be unique and determined by each institution and their community. Part of the ‘crucial discussions”. • A cohesive program that builds upon the foundations laid in select workforce focused A.S. degrees • May focus on management, leadership, advanced practice, problem solving, etc.

The Whys • Limited Alternatives to Baccalaureate Degree Attainment, especially rural students “I would have no place else to go” • Neither Difference nor Disadvantage to Obtaining a Community College Baccalaureate Degree “I always wanted to get my degree” • The Community College Baccalaureate Degree as Key to Economic Stability “I am doing this for myself and my family, if I get this degree then my kids will know that they can do it too
