Course Benefits • Course design is unique • No classroom meetings • No scheduled timeslot • Meet with Project Head & Expertise Faculty • Possible summer employment • Runs in Qtr. 3 and ends mid-Qtr. 4 • 1 c.u. 11/2/09
Course Logistics • Meeting time - determined by the Project head & team. • Teams work independently of one another on the same problem statement when there is more than 1 team. • Meet every week for 45 minutes one on one with Project head. • 2nd year MBA student acts as a teaching assistant. 11/2/09
Team Meeting Info • There are 2 types of meetings: • 5-6 meetings with Project Head • 3 meetings with Course Head • 2 meetings with Area of Expertise • 3 Host Meetings • Kick-Off in Jan. • Mid-Project Review – mid-Feb. • Final Presentation – mid-April 11/2/09

Project Selection Info • View FAP project proposals by the start of the course auction via web Café. • Access to web Café from the FAP website at: http://fap.wharton.upenn.edu 11/2/09
Registration Process • FAP will be in the Spring 2010 Course Auction. • Rounds 1-8 by project (i.e. MGMT 653001-Verizon Wireless) • Apply as an individual to work on a team. • 4-6 students per team and 1-2 teams per project 11/2/09
Registration Process (continued) • A maximum number of seats will be determined for each project by the FAP Office. (12 max/it varies this year) • The total number of successful enrollments will determine the size of the teams. • Teams will be assigned on the successful bids for each section. 11/2/09
Registration Process (continued) • If there are not enough successful bids for a particular project that project will be canceled and the points will be refunded. • At the close of the auction, all successful bidders will be notified. 11/2/09
