  3. Objectives • Develop partnerships with Colleges and Universities. • Make BS programs accessible to CC Technology program graduates. • Compatible with CC A.S. degrees • Meet IT ABET accreditation criteria. • Follow national IT program guidelines. • Develop an online BSIT degree.

  4. Motivation • Information Technology: remains hot! • IT Professionals need a blend of skills: Networks Web Technology Databases Computer Programming Project Management Writing/Communications

  5. BSIT Prerequisites Statistics: A first course in Statistics. Programming: A first course in Java programming. Lab Science: Two semesters of a Laboratory Science (Physics, Biology or Chemistry). Computer Architecture: A first course in Computer Architecture. 15 units of technology-related course work. GE certified for the CSU.
