  3. How 7th Grade Homerooms work • You have an assigned seat • During HR you may read, study, or finish HW – SO ALWAYS BRING SOMETHING TO WORK ON! • HR will be silent– especially so we can all hear any announcements • HR is not a time to socialize. Get all that done during breakfast.

  4. Team 7-1 • Ms. Calhoun – Reading • Ms. Lewis – Social Science • Ms. McGowan – Language Arts, Social Science • Ms. Akers – Life Science • Me - Math

  5. Lockers • $5 to rent a hall locker, $2 for a PE locker • We’ll assign lockers in the next week or so. • ALL forms must be turned in BEFORE you’ll be assigned a locker! • Leave your book bag at home until you have a locker to put it in.

  6. Homeroom continued • No bathroom or locker breaks during HR • Mr. Trisler dismisses you from HR – NOT the bell! • The room must be clean before you will be dismissed • Leave your book bags in your locker. • Come straight to HR from the cafeteria.

  7. AGENDA’S • Agenda’s will be treated just like any of your other textbooks • NO highlighting • NO coloring pages or days or ….. • Your parents (guardians) must sign your agenda EVERY day • You must use only PEN to write in your agenda – no pencil • $10 for a new one if you lose it!

  8. Agenda continued • You will have an entry for EVERY class, EVERY day • The hall/bathroom pass section is located at the back of each semester’s pages. • You MUST carry your agenda at all times during the school day • Write your name, Mr. Trisler’s HR, and your bus number in ink!

  9. Agenda continued (again) • Administrators will be checking your agenda to make sure it is up-to-date • Your teachers will be checking your agenda every day during 4th period for a parent/guardian signature. • If you don’t have your agenda signed it will result in a strike or demerit.
