Other Resources and Services Letters of Reference Service (LOR) Service for graduate and professional school letters ONLY Open an account at career.ucla.edu/LOR Sign and submit contract to activate file (one time $20 activation fee) Download confidentiality waiver and give to letter writers Letter writers/students can submit letters to the Career Center There are mailing fees Available to all currently enrolled UCLA students Alumni can activate/keep LOR account for $75/year

Internship/Volunteering & Research CSUN Student Health Center, Internship/Volunteer/Observation Contact: Dr. Chassiakos (director) Linda.Reid.Chassiakos@csun.edu -Less rigorous application process, offered only in the summer -Gain experience at public school clinic with various health clinic departments Research Experience: Contact Dr. Oppenheimer steven.oppenheimer@csun.edu -Well-known professor of oncology in Biology Department, CSUN -Lab is located next door to Student Health Center -Hours are flexible, course work can be done over summer with credit granted in Fall semester -Course credit can also be given for research work via Biology department, BIOL 499 (GPA-booster) Students may request letters of recommendation from Student Health Center and Dr. Oppenheimer upon completion of hours.
