Local election • Underage can vote in local election electronically • Their votes are taking into consideration, but they do not count • They can apply in Young Party
North-Livonian festival • Festival main purpose is to bring closer two countries • It takes place in the first Saturday of June • A big fair takes place, different collectives perform and workshops • A disco in the evening
Young people can belong to arrangment team • They can help with parking, work in workshops, perform
Teeme ära!/Let’s do it! • In 2008 first time Estonians joined forces in an effort to clean up the 45,227 km² country from illegally dumped or littered waste • Teachers, directors, managers, journalists, museum workers, students and kids worked together with the same goal - to make our home cleaner and lovelier place. • Average is 50 000 participants
STATE FOREST MANAGEMENT CENTRE/rmk RMK’s operating areas are: • forest administration; • forest management; • timber marketing; • preservation of the natural environment and recreation management; • seed and plant management;
Schools take part forest planting • RMK planted 18.4 million trees in the state forest this in 2013, which is more than in any prior year
Enterprising • Students can create their own businesses • They can sell their products in local fair etc
St. George's Night/Jüriöö ülestõus • 1343-1345 Estonians tried to fight against the Christian religion because they were not religious, but it was unsuccessful attempt • Every year in 23th April people all over Estonia are gather together in different places to run in teams with torsches
Problems There are few problems in our home place: • Not enough opportunities to go sports training like basketball and football training,tennis etc • Bus traffic could be better
Young people are moving to the city, because in the countryside are not enough opportunities for self-education • Not enough job
Solutions • Local authority should organize more opportunities for sport practise and self-education • More places to work, better salary • Co-operate with Pärnu bus station to guarantee better bus traffic
