  1. linear relationships • By: Megan Losh, Tim Warring, andColtonEllenwood.

  2. Linear Relationship: • The constant increase or decrease by the same amount.

  3. How many pages read in a book in a hour. • This is a linear relationship because, the number of pages read increases as the time goes on.

  4. How many notes can be played on an instrument inone minute. • This is a linear relationship because, if your constantlyplaying then the number of notes is increasing with the time.

  5. How many foul shots can be made in five minutes. • This is a linearrelationship because, as time goes on more shots will be made.

  6. The dependant variable is: number of foul shots. This is the dependant variable because the number of shots depends on the time. The independent variable is: time. This is the independent variable because in the situation doesn’t depend on time. Variables

  7. table

  8. graph

  9. Yes we connected the points. • We connected the points because you can have shots shown in between each minute.

  10. equation In our relationship, the number of shots we make is 10 times the amount of minutes we play. S stands for shots made. T stands for time in minutes. So our equation is S=10T.

  11. Conclusion • We hoped that you enjoyed our presentation. • Thanks for watching!
