  2. Procedures • Homework is given EVERY night. • Assignments are posted on the side board every day as well as on the WEBSITE! Students are expected to write their homework in their agenda each day. • Quizzes are given about 1 time a week. • Tests are given at the end of each chapter and are cumulative. • Extra Help is offered Mondays and Wednesdays • Spirals will be assigned on Thursdays and due the following Thursday. – These will be on Castle learning • Journal writing will take place about 1x a week to practice extended response/ common core questions. They will be graded and counted as a quiz.

  3. Grading • Tests • 3-5 per quarter 35% of quarter grade • Quizzes • 5-10 per quarter 25% of quarter grade • Journals will count as quizzes • Homework/Preparation/Participation- graded on effort/completion20% of quarter grade • Spiral Reviews 20 % of quarter grade

  4. State Assessments This Year • 7th grade Math Assessment • April • Book 1 and 2 consists of all multiple-choice questions. • Book 3 consists of extended response questions. • Students can use a calculator for books 2 and 3. • Students will receive an overall score of 1-4.
