PMI Heartland Chapter Mission Our mission is to be a not-for-profit, financially-sound, membership-driven, service-oriented organization providing professional development services and programs that benefit our members who want to be or are engaged in project management across many industries. PMI Heartland Chapter will accomplish this by following and promoting the PMI Code of Conduct and delivering programs that are PMBOK-based with a take-home benefit provided to the attendees of our events.
Strategic Objectives 2000 • Promote membership and participation from the board and through the members • Create and/or offer multiple training opportunities • Conduct a membership survey each year • Develop public relations and marketing scheme • Develop public relations through partnership with other organizations • Listen to the membership and develop a pulse for the membership needs
Strategic Objectives 2000 • Broaden chapter management time frames • Foster strong commitment and effective decision-oriented communication within the board • Build and implement succession plan • Create functional documentation regarding how to execute the work performed for each board position • Ensure effective, efficient and timely communication to the membership
