  2. Events Schedule Snake people are born with a powerful natural wisdom and often demonstrate psychic powers. Because of this, they often find great success in the field of high finance. Snakes love anything mystical. People born under this sign are usually well-mannered and like the finer things in life, such as music, literature and gourmet dining. Famous Snake People include: Abraham Lincoln, Audrey Hepburn, Jackie Kennedy, Oprah, and Picasso. Monday is the lucky day of the week for Snakes. The Lunar New Year is celebrated primarily by people of Chinese, Korean, Vietnamese and Mongolian heritage in many parts of the world. The traditional Chinese calendar, unlike other calendars, is not based solely on the moon, but both the moon and sun, to keep it close to seasonal changes. This year, the Chinese New Year is celebrated on February 10. On this day, the Chinese greet each other by saying ‘Kung Hei Fat Choy’ which means having a great fortune or ‘Kung Hall Sun Hei’ which means happy new year.
