At a glance As an extension to the HP Certified Professional Program, the ProCurve FAST Forward initiative delivers the same outstanding training in a condensed format: With a significant decrease in time out of office and up to 50% cost savings, ProCurve offers the FAST Forward program to those who want to obtain their ProCurve advanced technical certification in the most efficient manner possible.

  3. Audience The FAST Forward ProCurve program is designed primarily for: • experienced partner and reseller networking engineers • that are familiar with the implementation of networking solutions with multi-vendors. This includes knowledge in: • Basic networking technologies (Ethernet, IP addressing, and VLANs - and their use in contemporary networks) • Routing and traffic filtering technologies (redundant default gateway protocols, RIP, OSPF, and ACLs) • Design (high-availability and high-capacity features such as Spanning Tree, MSTP, link aggregation) • Security technologies (802.1X, Radius, SSH / SSL) • Generic 802.11 technology, LAN, WAN, and WLAN security, • network management, RADIUS including configuration of Server 2003 IAS, AD, IIS, DHCP, DNS, and Certificate Services.

ProCurve FAST Forward courses The 1st course available from this FAST Forward program is “ProCurve ASE Mobility Fast Track 8.41” • This course provides an accelerated, hands on course that combines: • Adaptive Edge Fundamentals v6.11, • Building ProCurve Resilient, Adaptive Networks v7.42, • Security v7.31, • Mobility 8.21 …. into an intense, fast paced class for experienced, knowledgeable network engineers, …. with a very practical approach for best use of network engineers’ time.

  9. prerequisite (qualification) Successful completion of ProCurve ASE Mobility Fast Track Entrance Exam: • This is an online exam, • This exam is required to participate to the ASE Mobility Fast Tracktraining, • you need to fax or send by email a proof of this exam completion before coming to the training

ProCurve FAST Track:Instructor Led Training (Application Practice) **IMPORTANT** Due to the accelerated delivery of this course, students are responsible for learning on their own, ALL of the information (not reviewed in class) in the associated student guides, lab guides and materials provided in preparation for the associated tests. Agenda: - In a typical ProCurve FAST Track session, it is not uncommon to have a schedule of at least ten hours per day, sometimes late into the evening.
