SCR770 Revision to Outage Scheduler Entry for Maintenance Outage Level Designation • Current Process: • Outage Scheduler system automatically determines the level for each Maintenance outage based on the date the outage request is submitted and the Planned Start of the outage: • Maintenance Level 1 – The Planned Start is less than 24 hours from the outage request submission • Maintenance Level 2 – The Planned Start is greater than 25 hours and less than 7 days from the outage request • Maintenance Level 3 – The Planned Start is greater than 8 days and less than 30 days from the outage request QMWG
SCR770 Revision to Outage Scheduler Entry for Maintenance Outage Level Designation • New Process: • This System Change will require MPs to enter the requested Planned Start date and the appropriate Outage Type for each Maintenance Outage. QMWG
SCR770 Revision to Outage Scheduler Entry for Maintenance Outage Level Designation • Project to Implement Changes: • ERCOT is starting the project now • Requirements will be shared with MPs • ERCOT is working on Design • Schedule will be shared when it is known so that MPs can line up Development and Testing resources for any changes they may need to make • ERCOT intends to complete Development and Testing and then allow a window of time for MPs to test in MOTE before go-live QMWG
