Let’s relate it to free speech in America… • A group of National Socialist Party of America members decided to hold a demonstration in a city with a large number of Jewish residents. • Town council passes ordinance that bans demonstrations that “incite violence, hatred, abuse, or hostility toward a person or group of persons by reasons or reference to religious, racial, ethnic, national, or religious affiliation.”

Charges Against Socrates • There were two charges: first, that Socrates violated the law by "refusing to do reverence to the gods recognized by the city, and introducing other new divinities," and second, by "corrupting the youth."
