  1. Prompt Question: In poetry, what is thought?Answer: In poetry, thought is the poem’s message. PA Std: 1.3.8.B. High School Thought Gesture: Touch two fingers to your temple when you say “thought,” then take the fingers off your temple and move them around in a circle near you temple as you say “poem’s message”

  2. Prompt Question: What is imagery?Answer: Imagery is the creation of mental pictures for the reader. PA Std: 1.3.8.B. High School Imagery Gesture: Make a “c” with your one hand while the other is in front of you with your palm facing away. Touch the “c” to you face when you say “creation” and “mental pictures” then move it away from you and place it on your palm when you say reader.
