RULES AND REGULATIONS IMPLEMENTING CERTAIN PROVISIONS OF THE PHILIPPINE COOPERATIVE CODE(RA 9520)
Rule 7. Functions, Responsibilities and Training Requirements of Directors, Officers and Committee Members Section 5. Training Requirements for the Officers of the Cooeprative. Officers of the cooperative shall be required to undergo necessary training conducted by the cooperatives, federations and/or other training institutions duly accredited by the Authority. The training program should contain the minimum requirements in the module/curriculum as prescribed by the Authority. The initial courses or any equivalent thereof must be unertaken.

Section 6. Compliance. The training is required for all cooperative officers. In cases where the incumbent has not undergone the required training program, he/she shall undergo such training within twelve (12) months from the effectivity of this rule. Non-compliance with the required trainings shall be considered grounds for disqualification for future election or appointment until such time that he/she has complied with all the trainings required for the position. Section 7. Duration of Trainings Attended. All trainings attened by cooperative officers shall be considered valid compliance with the intent of this Rule for a period of five (5) years from date of issuance of the Certificate of Training. After which, they shall be required to undergo re-training of the same.
