Some of ICT Challenges & Working Progress To continue to adapt accordingly • Policy and strategy to the new environment as appropriate. • Services • Service license to be improved according to the new Telecom Law. • Still Limited content, application in local language. • Law and Regulation • Waiting to pass Radio Frequency Regulation. • Continue on IT Regulation (Internet, Information Cyber Law, content, application and etc.) • Human Resource and Development • ICT: current and the next generation technology. • Training (at IPT): • lab need to be improved • curriculum will need to update • IPT is currently working with ITU.

Some of ICT Priority Tasks Priority Task: ICT policy ICT strategy ICT development plan Legislation: Radio Frequency Regulation IT Regulation Security Standardization Priority Action: Implementing of Telecom Law 2011. Licensing Manage Radio Frequency Security Law HRD: ICT curriculum for IPT ICT training LAB to be updated.

Conclusions and Recommendations • Continue to actively construct ICT Legislations • Continue on Human Resource Development • Learn from best practices & experiences from other countries & international organizations. • Actively Cooperate Locally, Regionally, Internationally • Operators, ISPs, private companies, and etc. • ASEAN member state, APT, ITU and etc. • Dialog partners.
