Process moving forward • The School Reform Commission invites all charter schools that have received a renewal or modification recommendation from the Office of Charter Schools to propose charter terms that advance the SRC's priorities in the following ways: • The Office of Charter Schools will work collaboratively with each charter school to identify potential issues and help ensure their proposal meets the SRC's priorities. • Beginning next Friday, April 27, 2012, and through June 30, 2012, the SRC will meet every Friday from 9-11 a.m. to consider charter school proposals. • With the exception of weeks of regularly scheduled SRC meetings (May 16, May 31, June 21). • For consideration on Friday, proposals must be submitted to the Office of Charter Schools by 5 p.m. the preceding Wednesday. • As necessary, the SRC will schedule additional meetings by request to consider proposals on a rolling basis.
