Universal Giving Previously, donors could only give to national/international charities, or approved charities in their specific CFC region This year, CFCNCA donors will be able to give to any CFC approved charity in any region in the country Donors will need to search online via www.cfcnca.org or Nexus to find their Universal Charities www.cfcnca.org
Using Nexus for the First Time • Register as a first time user • Select your agency • Enter your login and email information (remember your login!) • Begin the pledge process www.cfcnca.org

Pledge Form Carrier (Form 100) • Form 100s are used for processing paper pledges and print a paper pledge transactions. • Form 100s are also used to process proceeds from events. www.cfcnca.org
Processing Paper Pledges • Keep completed pledge forms secure at all times • Ensure the co-workers have filled out completely and correctly • All deduction amounts must match total annual deduction amount • Payroll deductions need an authorization signature • Cash or check donations must be included, signed, and made out to CFCNCA not the charity! • Promptly turn in results to your Coordinator, Campaign Manager or another designated Campaign Worker to ensure the chain of custody of CFCNCA deposits www.cfcnca.org
Processing Confidential Gifts • If donors prefer, they may donate to the CFC anonymously by placing a ‘confidential gift’ in a sealed envelope. • To process a confidential gift: • Accept the envelope – DO NOT OPEN IT - write the appropriate Reporting Unit Number on the outside of the envelope; • Attach the envelope by stapling it to the white copy portion of the Pledge Form Carrier (Form 100). • Make sure your Form 100 also has the appropriate Reporting Unit Number www.cfcnca.org

Deposit Bags • After Keyworker verifies the totals and the reporting unit number on the Form 100 the Coordinator should double check these items • Coordinator then enters the Form 100 information in the “Deposit Bag” section of Nexus www.cfcnca.org
Ordering Supplies in Nexus Include as much information as possible in requests: POC, security, height, stairs, logistics, etc. If you need any supplies above the pre-calculated amounts, write it in the miscellaneous notes section Try to coordinate requests if possible – especially if there are multiple agencies in the same building www.cfcnca.org

Department/Agency Awards Reporting Units must have a minimum of 100 employees to qualify for an award. Reporting Units under 100 employees can download certificates at www.cfcnca.org. www.cfcnca.org
Department/Agency AwardsReporting Unit Recognition President’s Award – for reporting units with 75 percent employee participation or $275 per capita gift. Chairman’s Award – for reporting units with 67 percent employee participation or $225 per capita gift. Honor Award – for reporting units with 60 percent employee participation or $175 per capita gift. Merit Award – for reporting units with 50 percent employee participation or $125 per capita gift. www.cfcnca.org
Department/Agency AwardsAgency Recognition Million Dollar Circle Award – for agencies that generate more than $1 million in donations. Summit Award – for agencies that achieve a 3 percent increase in total dollars raised over the previous year’s campaign. Participation Achievement Award – for agencies that achieve a 2 percent increase in participation over the previous year’s campaign. eGiving Award – for agencies that have at least a 10 percent increase in paperless pledge donations between the 2013 and 2014 campaign years with a minimum of 10 percent payroll donations. www.cfcnca.org
