Currently There are many words which are often confused not to mention confusing in the English language, so I thought I would shed some light on Currently and Actually this time around • To express the idea ofpresent time or now, Currently is used • Ken is currently working as a Project Manager • Sheila is currently on an out-of-town assignment

Actually Actually is not used to express the present time but is rather used in 2 contexts • If you are giving an opinion or adding new information to what you have just said • I got an award for its success but I didn’t actuallyenjoy this project • We were delayed for several hours but it was actuallythe best part of the business trip • When you are giving the exact truth of a situation as opposed to what people may imagine • The financial year results may appear grim but they are actuallypretty good • Unemployment has actually fallen for the past two months even though people claim otherwise
