  19. Step Four • Write the answer to the word problem • Remember • What you are trying to find, do you need more than one answer? • Identify your answer in units, such as miles per hour, inches, or apples • Double check your answer

  20. Answer Example • If Brayden has 3 apples and 7 oranges how many more oranges does he have than apples? • Wrong way to answer: • 4 (even though this is the right answer it is not complete) • Correct way to answer: • Brayden has 4 more oranges than apples.
