The KS3 Diploma standards include 5 categories - Platinum, Gold, Silver, Bronze, Credit. Criteria considered are Attendance, Punctuality, Achievement Points, Behaviour Points, Academic Progress, and Extra-Curricular Participation.

What are the Diploma standards? • There are 5 categories for the diploma: • Platinum • Gold • Silver • Bronze • Credit • Each of the elements will be awarded one of the 5 awards according to the criteria set – giving you a final KS3 Diploma standard.
What is included? • The KS3 Diploma will take into account the following criteria: • Attendance • Punctuality (am and pm registration) • Achievement Points • Behaviour Points • Academic Progress • Extra-Curricular Participation

Achievement & Behaviour • Achievement Points – from classroom rewards • Behaviour Points – from classroom behaviour logs SFR DLU ESI PJE KTH SBL JLY SMA MRY
Academic Progress • Academic Progress – from Interim reports • Your subject teachers will record your current grade and we compare this to your expected target grade. • If you are on or above target you gain the most points • Overall total = Diploma Grade SFR DLU ESI PJE KTH SBL JLY SMA MRY
Extra-Curricular • Extra-Curricular Participation – you provide evidence of what you take part in SFR DLU ESI PJE KTH SBL JLY SMA MRY
Extra-curricular Participation • For the activities you take part in ask the organiser or person responsible to sign and date your evidence sheet – please return to YEAR 9 OFFICEby Friday 14th June.
Timescale • Celebration Event = MONDAY 15thJULY @ 7pm • Final Diploma Grades will be calculated after your last interim • Those who have achieved highly will be invited to the awards evening – everyone will receive a Diploma Certificate.
