Requirements Handset: • USB Dongle. • Firmware. (Mia Tech) • Root Directory Files: • FL7. • Set Provider. • FwuPath. • Raffle. Base Station: • DHCP (Any Switch providing DHCP will work). • Handset – To get the Base IP. • Google Chrome – Not Internet Explorer, as it Cache’ the sites. • Pumpkin (Any TFTP Program). • Firmware (Mia Tech) • Root directory Files: • FwuPath • Beatus Repeater: • USB Dongle – Repeater Dongle. • USB Drivers (Same as for the Handset). • Firmware • Root Directory Files: • Repeater Upgrade • FwuPath • DECT4024

Handset Procedure • Place the “FL7” file in root directory. • Install the USB Driver. • Insert the Dongle. • Check Comport in Device Manger. • Go to the root file: • Open FL7.cfg with Notepad. • Edit the Comport. • Save & Exit. • Insert the Dongle into the earphone jack of the handset. Handset must be off. • Open CMD Prompt and type the following: • Cd\ • Cd FL7 • Do Not press Enter until the button config has been done. • Fl.bat pega (Press the TAB button, this will auto complete the file name). • C:\FL7>fl.bat PegasusMKII_Raffle_Pp_and_boot_v0179_b0004.hex • Once the above line is in the CMD, do the following sequence: • HOLD DOWN the Dongle button. • HOLD in the RED button on handset. • LEAVE the Dongle button. • Press ENTER on the CMD prompt. • ONLY Leave the Red button once the numbers has started counting. • Once it has completed, remove and replace battery. • FIRMWARE IS COMPLETE.
Base Procedure • Place the “FwuPath” file in root directory. • Install Pumpkin. • Go to Options: • Download Path: C:\ • Give all files. • Take all files. Open Management Tab on Base station: Menu*47* • Management transfer Protocol: TFTP • SysLog Level: Debug • Open Firmware Update Tab: • Firmware Update Server Address: PC IP Address • Firmware Path: \FwuPath • Click Save. • Update Base Stations: • Update this Base Station Only • Stand Alone • Update All Base Stations • Multi Cell Setup • Insert the required version and click save. • Pumpkin will start sending the files. • Base will flash Rapid red then have solid green. FIRMWARE COMPLETE.
Repeater Procedure • Place the “Repeater Upgrade” file in root directory. • Install the dongle drivers. • Check Comport in Device Manager. • Go to Root file: Open FL7.cfg with Notepad. • Edit the Comport. • Save & Exit. • Open CMD prompt and type the following: • Fl.bat rota (Press the TAB button, this will auto complete the file name). • C:\Repeater Upgrade>fl.bat Rota.spi_v0026.hex • Insert the Dongle into the Dongle kit and Repeater. • Press and HOLD the Dongle Button. • Insert the Power cable into the Dongle Kit. • Release the Dongle button. • Press enter on the CMD Prompt. • Wait for Success. • FIRMWARE COMPLETE.
