Nigerian Community Action • We have been relatively silent in the political arena for too long. • We have some of the brightest minds in Law, Medicine, Engineering and Business but have been strangely absent when it comes to Politics. • This is our time to rise to the occasion and become active participants in the discourse that not only governs are lives but the lives of our children.

  3. Nigerian Community Action • Youth • Immigration • Social Security • Education • Boost Political Capacity

  4. Nigerian Community Action • John F. Kennedy once wrote that “there are risks and costs to action, but they are far less than the long term risks of comfortable inaction.” • Now is the time to stand up move toward our unified goals of achieving political success locally, federally and internationally!

  5. Re-Elect President Obama Campaign • Why should we all come together to support President Obama? • What is the potential effect and benefit of participation? • Why may this be our best opportunity as Nigerians to mobilize ourselves for political action?

  6. Re-Elect President Obama Campaign • Strong Candidate with African Ties • Central figure most Nigerians can rally around • Political recognition as a group • DNC, Obama Campaign, AALC. 28% of voters in 2012 will be minorities. 85% are expected to vote for Pres. Obama.

Re-Elect President Obama Campaign • This campaign is not just about Re-electing the best man to lead us for the next four years. • This campaign is about securing a future for our youth, making it easier for those of us in Nigeria to work here in the United States and setting a firm foundation for future Nigerian Candidates to stand upon and hold political office.

Nigerian Americans for President Obama Fundraiser • After we reach our goal, we step forward into a new frontier with bigger and better goals. • This momentum should and will last past this current election into the future where we will be able to rally a similar campaign to see one of our fellow Nigerians hold federal office.
