  2. Exposition • once upon a time there lived in a certain village a little country girl, prettiest creature who was ever seen

  3. complication • One day her mother, having make some cakes, sent her, go my dear and see how your grandmother is doing, for I hear she has been very ill, take her a cake and this little pot of butter, little red riding hood set out immediately to go to her grandmother, who lived in another village.

  4. Rising action • As she was going through the woods she met with a wolf who had a very great mind to eat her up, but he dared not because of some woodcutters working near by in the forest he asked where she was going and she said her grandmothers house.

  5. climax • The wolf went to grandmas house where he opened the door and found the ill women then he immediately fell upon the ill women and ate her up then he shut the door and got into grandma’s bed, expecting little red riding hood any moment.
