Project Background • NMSIIS based on Wisconsin Immunization Registry (WIR) • New York State version adopted in 2009 • HP Enterprise Services awarded 4 year contract; expires March 31, 2014 • RFP for continued maintenance and support of existing NMSIIS or replacement soon to be released • Replacement could be enhanced version that encompasses requirements specified in RFP New Mexico Department of Health

Justification, Objectives and Impacts • Support Department with fulfilling FY14 Strategic Plan • Improved and integrated NMSIIS application to provide better information to all stakeholders with regard to the health of the citizens of New Mexico. • Implement an Improved Immunization Registry • Improve functionality • Tracking of immunizations administered • Vaccine Inventory tracking • Data Access (DOH applications and Provider EHRs with Data Exchange) • Lower support and maintenance costs • Reduced time devoted to maintenance and support issues New Mexico Department of Health
