Demographics • Males:12 • Females:11 • More or less an equal amount of both genders • Age: • 22 were 18-24 years old, one was in the 25-30 year old age bracket • All are full time students • Majority are Maltese (20), one Chinese, one Japanese and one German student • None of students who completed the survey are married, 15 are in a relationship and 8 are single.

Community • Students found SNS to be important in their lives so as to keep in contact with old friends and also to make new friends. • One student stated that he did not believe that SNS helps someone to be more interactive only if they’re shy. • Another student felt more interactive in the community by learning about upcoming events.
Conclusion • Facebook is widely used among students as all students who filled in the survey said they use this SNS. • Not much time is spent on SNS on daily basis as most responded to spending less than an hour per day
