  2. HOW WOULD YOU LIKE TO HAVE AN OFFENSIVE ATTACK IN WHICH YOU CAN NEVER BE WRONG IN WHAT YOU CALL! I THINK ALL OF US WOULD LOVE TO HAVE THIS ACE IN THE HOLE WHEN PLAYING AGAINST ALL THE DIFFERENT DEFENSES WE SEE EACH WEEK. WITH THIS OFFENSIVE MENTALLY, YOUR PLAYERS WILL NEVER THINK THAT THE DEFENSE CAN STOP THEM! THEY WILL LOOK FORWARD SEEING ALL THE WAYS PEOPLE TRY TO STOP THIS ATTACK! THEY WILL TAKE PRIDE IN NOT ONLY BEING TUFF, FAST AND STRONG PLAYERS BUT VERY SMART PLAYERS ALSO! YOU WILL LOVE COACHING YOUR KIDS BECAUSE IT MAKES PRACTICE AND GAMES SO MUCH FUN BECAUSE YOU ALWAYS HAVE THE ANSWER!

OFFENSE IS CALLED USING COMBOS AND AUDIBLES CALLED BY QUARTERBACK • INSIDE VEER IS COMBOED WITH OUTSIDE VEER • SPEED OPTION IS USED IF YOU GET GAP DEFENSES • ISOLATION IS COMBOED WITH POWER OFF TAKCLE • PLAY • SWEEP IS USED IF YOU GET GAP DEFENSES • QB SNEAK IS BUILT IN TO OFFENSE IF QB SEES • PLACE FOR IT TO BE RUN. • INSIDE TRAP AND OFF-TACKLE TRAP OR COUNTER • TRADE ARE USED TO GIVE YOU CHANCES TO • COUNTER FAST FLOWING DEFENSES. • YOU CAN USE ZONE AND TRADITIONAL VEER • BLOCKING PRINCIPLES WITH YOUR OFFENSIVE • LINEMEN. • YOU HAVE THE ABILITY TO THROW OFF PLAY-ACTION, • QUICK GAME OR 5 TO 7 STEP PASSING ACTIONS. • YOU WILL MAKE READING THE OPTION VERY MUCH • EASIER AND MAKE IT SAFER FROM FUMBLES OR • MISREADS BY ALLOWING DIVE BACK AND QB TO BOTH • READ THE GIVE OR PULL.

  4. THE OBJECT OF THE GAME IS TO SCORE!

  5. What is the Triple Option? Triple option In these highly complex running plays, three potential ball carriers are available. The triple option typically features three components: a "dive" track, a "keep" track and "pitch" track. In its most generic version, the inside/outside veer the dive track is typically carried out by a running back. At the snap of the ball, this player attacks the line of scrimmage somewhere between the offensive tackles (or end in the outside veer) as designated by the type of triple option play. This player is often the first choice in the triple option. His goal is to quickly attack the defensive interior in order to either pick up yardage or freeze the defense and prevent their pursuit to the outside. This quick surge into the interior of the defense is traditionally called a "dive". The quarterback determines whether to hand the ball to the fullback by reading a "dive key" - usually a defensive end. If the dive key does not try to tackle the running back the quarterback will hand the ball off to him. Alternatively, if the defender attempts to tackle the running back, the quarterback will keep the ball himself. This decision usually takes place while both the dive back and the quarterback are holding the football in an intricate exchange called the "mesh". On the keep track, the quarterback may run upfield for yardage or pitch the ball to another ball carrier on the "pitch" track. This player is called the "pitch back" and the quarterback determines whether or not to pitch the ball by reading the "pitch key" - usually a linebacker or defensive back.

The Option Offense Mission The Option Offense exists to always keep the defense guessing.  Who has the ball?  The option offense places good athletes in great situations.  The option offense allows the coach, to call plays that place the ball in the hands of the best athlete.  Better yet, the option offense allows the quarterback to place the team in the best position to march the football down the field and score points. Option Offense Facts: The Option Offense continues to be run successfully at the high school and college level The Option Offense typically has a running quarterback The Option Offense destroys defenses who refuse to adjust!

Option Offense - Strengths: The Option Offense is a ball control offense The Option Offense is good versus any defense The Option Offense is great for an athletic quarterback who can run The play action pass off of the option can result in very big plays Opposing Defenses hate to try to defend true option teams Option Offense - Weaknesses: The Option Offense is not a come from behind offense The Option Offense is not a passing offense The Option Offense takes a lot of time and work to run effectively
