Political Notes • 52: I cannot ask for…a single situation or condition to become stabilized in history, for history to stop, just as I cannot ask for one of the four seasons to be forever fixed. In history, as in nature, there will always be forces which will cause change. And I, with my wants and actions, am only a small participant in one of these continual changes.
