“An Afternoon to Remember” Principals’ Institute – Afternoon Forum
PRINCIPALS’ FORUM • You are encouraged to take opportunities to collaborate, share issues, and problem solvewith participants within the same city, district and state. • This afternoon you will have time to meet with your city cohort of administrators to examine one of the topics suggested or another topic relevant to your city and circumstances. • Your team will be expected to share the results of your task on Wednesday morning at 8am. • Your team is encouraged to demonstrate their creativity in designing their brief presentation (5 minutes or less). Visual representations are appreciated.
Forum Topics Continued 2. How will you monitor and support your instructional coaches to assure that they are spending 70% of their time providing in-classroom support? 3. As a DN/TDS site, how do you or will you communicate the change and engage your stakeholders in the planning and implementation of the model? 4. What solutions have you identified and implemented to allow for a master schedule that accommodates team planning, cohorts and regular professional development opportunities for staff?
