  15. A complex sentence comprises two clauses: - a main clause - a subordinate clause. A subordinate clause begins with a subordinate conjunction. - when - while - as - before

  16. Some other subordinate conjunctions are: - after - because - although - so that -in order that - for fear that - etc.
