500 km • The focal region of the earthquake was extremely extensive. It reached approximately 500km from north to south, and approximately 200km from east to west.
Tsunami • By this earthquake, massive tsunamis more than 10 meters were generated and brought crushing damage in the coast of Pacific of the Tohoku district.
