第二章 學前教育的革命家－盧梭. 葉玉賢. 家庭 : 盧梭出生於瑞士， 父親名依薩克·盧梭，一個 修 表匠，是仁慈的，但性情暴躁，是一個游蕩者和冒險者的混合體，而且有讀書的癖好。 盧梭 自幼喪母，由父親與姑母扶養，喜歡讀古希臘 、羅馬的作品。 1722 年，年方 10 歲的盧梭卻因為父親因故而必須為了免牢獄之災而逃亡里昂。頓時，盧梭成為孤兒，寄居在母親娘家達 6 年之久。 父親對他的影響極大。常過度的 流覽 各種小說，甚至徹夜不止，習以為常。“有時父親在晨光微曦中聽到醒來的燕群的鳴聲，不免有愧色的說：‘讓我們睡覺吧；我還比你更多孩子氣呢。 （引自方永泉， 2008 ） .
