What is the SOTC? • The State of the Corporation (SOTC) address is a speech by the Premier at the AGM. • The SOTC outlines the current state of affairs and future direction for the members of YPM.
Why give the address? • To share our plan for the upcoming year • To define our goals • We are answerable to you!
So, what is the state of our Corporation? • Success in 2007: • Spring Session, Brandon, Manitoba • Improvement of Cabinet Meetings • Personal Development • Rural development goals • Increase in Rural members at Winter session • MacGregor BBQ • Increased fundraising revenue • Registration numbers higher than ever
So, what is the state of our Corporation? • Challenges in 2007: • Leadership development within cabinet structure • Limited success in fundraising • Alumni relations
