In the MONDAY box of your Weekly Warm Up sheet, write the words “Noun Notes.” Then, complete the following in the TUESDAY box: Write down all of the nouns in the sentences below. 1. The teacher told the student that a person should always be loyal. (3) 2. People with perseverance will be successful in life. (3) 3. I bought a new pen at the drugstore across the street. (3) 4. The man said to the policeman that he had not seen the accident. (3) Now, write down the nouns in the sentences and identify whether they are common or proper. • Ms. Mills told the officer at the post office to weigh the package. • The principal at the school held Eric after the bell. • Sheep and horses eat grass shorter than cattle. • The Declaration of Independence and the Constitution are important to Americans. • War is a terrible thing that all nations should work to stop.

What could they hint about what might happen?

  8. Secondary Plot in The Lion King • Which part of the plot (e.g. falling action) does the part we just watched fall under? How do you know? • Where in this clip do you find foreshadowing? How do you know? Write down the “hint” and then write down how we see that hint revealed in the movie. • Was there flashback in this clip? Why or why not?
