  2. Mihai Ciubancan, CAF Meeting 2013 RO-07-NIPNE The main problem up to now – very poor perfomance for analysis We figured out the problem in December – an 150TB SAN with a very poor transfer rates( order of tens KB)

  3. Mihai Ciubancan, CAF Meeting 2013 RO-07-NIPNE We have installed and configured a new storage of 120TB capacity and start the drain from the old storage in January. This days we install another 80TB( 2 dpm-disks) In the last weeks the number of analysis job failed has been reduced(except the last days because of the new storage installed, but we are working to fix that)

Also, to improve the analysis efficiency we create at the beginning of the year a new queue, dedicated to analysis: atlasana Atlasana has dedicated 320 cores

Mihai Ciubancan, CAF Meeting 2013 RO-07-NIPNE Last weeks we have increased the network bandwidth between storage side and WN's side from 10Gbps to 30Gbps(with possibility to increase up to 40Gbps) Due to the new internal network configuration, we will add another ~320 cores to atlasana queue(when the drain will be finished)

Mihai Ciubancan, CAF Meeting 2013 RO-07-NIPNE Regarding the external network this weeks we will become a network PoP for RoEduNet - our network provider, RoEduNet installed a DWDM -will provide us a direct connection to the Border Gateway to Geant -link it's 10Gbps with possibility to upgrade up to 40Gbps Also we will be able to join to LHCONE, so we hope, soon, to become a T2D site
