Fundamentals • Wisdom from Ancient Chinese: “The world tends to integrate after long disintegration and tends to disintegrate after long integration.” • OEM/ODMs tend to integrate their supply chain: “out-sourced” becoming “in-sourced”. • Vertically integrated companies becomes disintegrated, i.e., UMC, Holtek, etc.. • Company re-organizes from time to time.

  3. Fundamentals • It is my mind, the “in-source”, that decides if I want to “out-source” for help, advice, collaboration, etc.. • Equally applicable to both top management and staffs • Team members with complimentary expertise make a good team. • Equally applicable to workspace and home

Keys to Resource Management • Know your resource • Understand and trust yourself • Understand and trust your superiors, subordinates and internal facilities • Build resource network inside and outside of your organization • Be open-minded • Be result oriented: It takes whatever available best to achieve goals
