  3. 什麼是F1? • F1 – Formula 1 • Formula 雖然被翻譯成 “方程式” , 但其實是“規則 (rule) ”的意思 • 1是代表賽車規範等級最高的意思 • 是由國際汽車聯盟（FIA）舉辦的最高等级的年度系列場地賽車比賽，全名是“一级方程式錦標賽”。 • F1不僅是賽車界最重要的賽事，同時也是最昂貴的體育運動，其賽車往往採用汽車界最先進的技術。 • F1每年舉辦一系列的比賽，比賽場地是全封閉的專門賽道，或者是臨時封閉的普通公路賽道。 • 每年约有10支車隊参賽，經過16~20站的”大獎賽 (Grand Prix)”，來競爭年度總冠軍的寶座。

  4. F1 的歷史 • F1的前身是1920 / 1930 年代舉行的歐洲大獎賽。二次大戰结束後随着機動車賽的重新建立，F1最後在1950正式在英國開賽。 • 1970年代是F1的瞬間加速期，使得賽車速度激增； • 1980年代的電腦科技使得賽車的油門、離合器全部由電腦自動調控； • 1990年代是F1的自動化期，賽車的機械運作高度仰賴電腦。 • 某些批評家認為賽車的機械運作過度仰賴電腦，會便宜了技術欠佳的選手。因此比賽的主辦單位也經常修改規則，藉以降低新技術所帶來的影響。
