Concepto de Objeto de Aprendizaje Dada la amplitud y variedad de las definiciones, así como la diversidad de recursos que pueden considerarse como Objeto de Aprendizaje (OA), es difícil llegar a una definición concreta, pero para nuestros efectos, consideraremos OA a cualquier recurso digital descrito con metadatos, que puede estar compuesto de uno o varios elementos digitales, organizado en unidades mínimas de significado instruccional, para propósitos educativos o de capacitación, que pueda ser utilizado y reutilizado dentro de un entorno e-learning.
