RESEARCH Fastest things on earth Bullet Trains can go from 240-300 km/h. Their fastest speed is 310 mph but they normally travel at a speed of 150 – 187 mph. The cheetah achieves by far the fastest land speed of any living animal between 70 and 75 mph in short bursts covering distances up to 500m. Our class had a Ferrari 430 visit. The owner of the car David Barber even gave us an interview .Here are some of the facts we found out: It can go at 196 mph . It cost £200,000. There are only two or three black Ferraris in Ireland. The tyres cost £150 EACH.
Research Race Day To help with research we all brought in our remote control cars raced them and then looked at the speed ,size and shape of them to help with design.
Research On Aerodynamics There are four principles of aerodynamics these are : Lift Weight Drag Thrust We learned about the four principles of aerodynamics and searched some pictures to help explain in greater detail.

Why We Chose The Car Why We Chose The Car We chose our final car by looking at all the fastest cars in the world and drew a combination some of them. This one is our final car and it was designed and made by Rhys our graphic designer.
