Before answering the question "Must the rejection of Liberalism include the establishment of a Totalitarian regime?" We must first understand why liberalism has been rejected in the first place. These government's may use many different tactics in order to control its people. These tools will help eliminate liberalism and push towards a more authoritarian style of government. Some of these reasons include: Absolute control through fear and oppression Nazi Germany, China (Tiananmen Square) Extreme corruption of governmental associations Afghanistan Brainwash through establishment of a God-Like figure or idol North Korea Or historical success of communism USSR
Must the rejection of Liberalism include the establishment of a Totalitarian regime? Yes. History has proven that if the current government has already rejected liberalism, the society is beyond saving. The government will keep pushing its limits if its people don’t fight back The citizens of the country are not determined enough to push for a more democratic style government, and that is why freedom will die.
