SENIOR EXIT JUDGING • Parents and other adults at Hopewell and in the surrounding community are invited to come and help judge or volunteer at the Senior Graduation Project presentations on December 8th, 9th, and 10th. • Experience is not required for judging as there will be training sessions each morning before presentations begin. • Volunteers are also needed to help provide food and refreshments for the judges throughout the day. • Any time you can volunteer throughout the day is greatly appreciated! • If interested in judging or volunteering, please visit http://www.signupgenius.com/go/409044eaeac2da20-graduation to sign up.

Dance Team Fundraiser The Hopewell Dance Team will be selling Attractions Dining and Value Guides starting in October. They cost 20$ and pay for themselves after 2 uses. College Application Week is Next Week! • November 10th-14thseniors can apply to NC colleges through CFNC, www.cfnc.org, and have the application fee waved for many schools. The list of the participating schools is available on CFNC website and will be posted around school. Seniors who are currently in English class will attend a 45 min lab session with their teacher on Nov. 10th. Students who are taking English next semester, the schedule is as follows: • 9:50- 10:26, 2nd period: Senior Students with the last name A-J report to computer lab closest to their class. • 10:31-11:20, 3rd period : Senior Students with the last names K-Z report to computer closest to their class. • 12:50-1:20, 4th period: Any senior who was unable to attend earlier that day
TEACHERS: • Teachers letting your recycle bin run over, this is the procedure you should follow: • Send a responsible student with bin to rollout. The rollouts are located at each workroom except 900. they are located in stairwells. • Dump bin into rollout and return empty bin to class. • The custodian assigned to that area will then take rollout to recycle dumpster. • Empty rollout will then be returned to proper location.

University of Tennessee Volunteer Scholarships • UT has created a newly defined scholarship program for outstanding volunteers • Need to have a minimum of 3.8 weighted UT core GPA and a super scored SAT or ACT. • Students must meet the December 1stregular admission deadline.

Charlotte “Queen City” Chapter • The Charlotte “Queen City” Chapter of North Carolina Agriculture and Technical State University Alumni Association has established a scholarship program for the student(s) attending North Carolina Agriculture and Technical State University.
