  1. Chinese Emperors & Dynasties By: Julian Chan & Jake Frimmer

  2. Did you know that the Qin emperor the first emperor of China? The Qin Dynasty only lasted for about 15 years. On the other hand the Ming Dynasty lasted for 276 years. That’s a long time right? Well, there were a lot of members and the role of emperor passed down from father to son. When a dynasty lost a war against another dynasty trying to become emperor, the winning dynasty was clammed emperor.

  3. Qin Do you ever dream of living in Ancient China? Travel back in time to 221to 206 B.C. Well, I recommend you don’t! The worst thing that might happen to you? You could get chopped in half buried alive, buried up to your neck, and get your head chopped off with an axe. Just because Qin emperor said so. The Qin also burned all the books in China that didn’t include him too.

  4. Qin The Qin dynasty lasted for about for 15 years. The Qin emperor became the emperor when he was only 12 or 13 years old. Wow that’s young right? Qin was really crazy back then because he tried drinking these crazy things. He tried gold, wild mushrooms, and he didn’t eat anything that would make him burp or fart. He did that stuff because he wanted to live forever. A lot of people tried to keep him alive forever, but no one succeeded.

  5. Qin The tomb that Qin lays in now is one mile away from his Terracotta Worriers. Why did he build the Terracotta Worriers? He built them because he thought they would come alive and take over the afterlife.

  6. The Qin emperor had the idea for the Great Wall of China. Qin didn’t have the tools to build it. The Ming did so they built it.

  7. Ming The Ming started when they took over the Yuan dynasty in 1368 and ended in 1644. Every emperor in the Ming dynasty came from Zhu Yuanzhang’s family, (he was the 1st emperor of the Ming dynasty). The Ming dynasty was the 20th group of emperors. There were 16 emperors in the Ming time.

  8. Ming I think that the Ming dynasty was a powerful dynasty because they built some of the most magnificent structures on earth like the Great Wall of China and the Forbidden City (it‘s called the Forbidden City because nobody can go in or out without the emperor’s permission). There was a lot of drama going on while building the Great wall. Ming hired workers to build it and a lot of them died. I think that this part of the dynasty was a hard one.

  9. Ming Each emperor ruled for about 10 to 20 years. They all had different names for their temples. Today these emperors are remembered for protecting China, and making it a safe country and building great things.
