INTRODUCTION • The purpose of this training is to help conference presenters infuse diversity and cultural competency content into their workshops. • Just as ethics and confidentiality are core components of social work practice, diversity and cultural competency are key elements in all areas of social work education and practice. • Both NASW and CSWE place great emphasis on the importance of infusing diversity and cultural competency throughout the social work profession.
